Think beyond the box – different uses for Bricmate’s products

A completed tiling project with porcelain stoneware floor & wall tiles or countertops may result in leftover material. This creates an excellent starting point for new, creative ideas. Bricmate’s products offer versatility that extends far beyond traditional use. By thinking outside the box, you can transform what’s left over into personal DIY projects for the home, beneficial for both the environment and your wallet.

Create cubes and rectangular blocks for various purposes

Table legs

Create unique table legs using Bricmate’s countertops. In this project, 12 mm thick slabs from the Glanshammar White series have been joined together into rectangular blocks. The tabletop can be made from any material; in this case, a sturdy light wood was chosen, creating a look that is both robust and refined.

Steps
The rectangular block can also be used as steps or stairs, for example by the bathtub or hot tub. This requires tiles in larger formats, such as 60x120 cm, as well as the possibility to adjust the tiles by cutting them into different sizes.

Cube as table and decoration
The cube - a stylish and functional detail for all kinds of environments. Its cubic design works equally well as a side table or as a decorative element.

Serving tray or cutting board

Our tiles also work perfectly as serving platters for snacks, appetizers, cold cuts, or other types of food. You can cut directly on the tiles with a knife without risk of scratches, and all kinds of dishes can be left out without causing stains or discoloration.

Tabletop

Find a stylish base or create one yourself, mount a slab from Bricmate on top, and voilà, you have a unique and practical table. It can be a coffee table, side table, dining table, or a table for the balcony or patio. Here, a 12 mm thick slab has been carved into a circular shape.
