In this project, tile sizes 20 x 60 and 30 x 60 were combined and laid in a classic pattern.
They have been laid in an offset pattern, giving the floor a traditional, somewhat irregular look.
This pattern is common used for setting natural stone tiles of varying lengths. The longitudinal joints are parallel, while the transverse joints occur at irreegular intervals. In this way, several different tile sizes can be combined in rows and less waste is generated as the cut-off end piece of each row becomes the starting piece of the next.
In this laundry room, the floor has been combined with a countertop in Kolmården Light Silk.
